Clearwater Beach House • Heated Pool • Hot Tub

The AC couldn't keep up with the Florida heat, leaving the bedrooms and hot and evenn the common areas at 80 degrees in the afternoons, But that was minor compared to the ROACHES that were everywhere! We stayed one night and then abandoned our plans which left our kids disappointed and stressed. The owners responded that they would send help but never did. I have pictures of the roaches and the AC as proof, DO NOT STAY HERE

Started off by not being able to get in. Host was never able to get the code with my number to work so I finally used the cleaners code to get in. Upon checking the house, everything was filthy! Doors have inches of dirt and handprints, walls had hand and feet markings, kitchen had food/drink splatters everywhere, bottom of fridge had spilled drinks in drawer, NONE of the sheets on bed were clean. All had soo many black hairs covered with a comforter. The pool had gobs of black hair and glow sticks all over the bottom of the pool. Hot tub had a brown film and smelled horrible. One bedframe was literally broken. After contacting the host I was send photos of the beds made and told it’s been cleaned no worries. I was told the pool would be cleaned in 3 days don’t worry. The over was broken all the buttons were broke off and was unusable. Every time I messaged the host I was told “the team” would get back to me. Never heard from them. After the 2nd night we saw so many roaches! Not little one, huge full grown roaches. I made a complaint with Vrbo and spoke on a 3way to the host. Was told “the team” would contact me. After TWO DAYS the had Amazon drop off bug outside killer to spray around the outside of the house and raid for inside! Not kidding. I begged for a refund or a relocation but “the team” never found time to contact me. This place is a scam. The photos are staged and do not look anything like the actual house. It’s filthy.Dont stay here!

The inside of the house was super cute & served the purpose for what we needed. Although there was a few issues. When we arrived the code to the door didn’t work so we was left standing outside in the heat with all of our luggage trying to get ahold of someone to help us get inside.The outside of the place could use some decorations. We wasn’t even sure we was at the right place as it looked like an empty home - grass was high, and not one decoration outside. The hot tub buttons are all broke so you can’t see what you’re clicking. it wasn’t hot the first night so we had to try to figure out how to get it hot - due to the buttons being basically gone. The air conditioner wasn’t keeping the place cool. We would leave for the beach and come back and it would be 80 degrees in the house with all doors and windows shut! And lastly… Roaches. We had seen several bugs but just thought they was maybe water bugs. until we went to make a cup of coffee and they was alll over the Keurig machine. and we was able to do an image search to be 100% sure it was German Cockroaches. then we started noticing them throughout the house. i contacted the host but unfortunately never received a final answer. so with these inconveniences- i rate it a 3/5 because ultimately it served its purpose, but definitely some work needs done.
